In the challenging year of 2020, our dental studio sought to bring a smile to the face of a young community member during Thanksgiving week and Black Friday. Recognizing the unique hardships faced by youth during the pandemic, we decided to offer a special gift: free braces for one lucky student aged 17 or younger.
The year 2020 brought unprecedented changes to everyone’s lives, but perhaps none felt it more keenly than our younger generation. With masks becoming a daily necessity, an entire summer lost to lockdowns, and limited opportunities to see friends or engage in normal activities, it was a particularly tough time for children and teenagers.
Our free braces initiative was more than just a dental procedure; it was a gesture of hope and normalcy in an uncertain time. We wanted to give back to our community and provide a reason to smile despite the challenges. This offer represented not only a significant financial relief for one family but also an investment in a young person’s confidence and future.
By focusing on the youth in our community, we hoped to remind everyone that even in difficult times, there are still reasons to be thankful and opportunities to look forward to a brighter future.
